By creating an account, uploading content or using Ustadhy, you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

Eligibility and account ownership

Account holders must be 18 or older and provide accurate information. A parent or legal guardian may use an adult-owned account to find a teacher for a child. Children may not hold independent accounts. Keep your credentials secure and notify support of suspected compromise.

Nature of the service

Ustadhy provides teacher discovery, matching and in-app communication. Teachers are responsible for the accuracy of their qualifications and services. Ustadhy may review profiles and content but does not guarantee learning outcomes, availability or suitability. Lesson scheduling, delivery and any physical service arrangements are the responsibility of the users involved.

User content and licence

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Ustadhy a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, reproduce and display that content only as needed to operate, moderate and promote the service. You confirm that you own the content or have permission to use it.

Prohibited content and conduct

Do not upload or send sexual or exploitative content; child sexual abuse material; threats; harassment; hate; violence; self-harm promotion; fraud; impersonation; illegal goods or services; spam; malware; copyright-infringing material; private information without consent; or public contact/payment details intended to bypass Ustadhy safeguards. Grooming, solicitation of minors and attempts to move a child into unsupervised external communication are strictly prohibited and may be reported to relevant authorities.

Moderation, reporting and blocking

Users can report videos, profiles or users and block another user inside the app. Ustadhy may review, restrict, reject, remove or preserve content; suspend or terminate accounts; and cooperate with authorities where appropriate. Reports must be made in good faith. Serious safety concerns should also be reported to local emergency or law-enforcement services.

One-time in-app purchases

Lesson credits and teacher video-slot add-ons are one-time digital products processed by the store for the user’s device: Apple App Store or Google Play. They are not auto-renewing subscriptions. Paid lesson credits do not expire and are consumed when lessons are booked. The app displays each package’s limit and store-localized price before purchase. The applicable store presents final taxes, payment and refund information. Refund requests and billing disputes are handled under the store’s policies. Entitlements may be withheld or revoked for refunded, reversed, fraudulent or duplicated purchases. Users can restore eligible purchases using the store restoration mechanism.

Lesson service fees

Before confirming a paid lesson, the learner is shown the teacher price, Ustadhy platform service fee and final total. The service fee is 5% of the lesson price, subject to a minimum of USD 0.25 and a maximum of USD 2. Free trial classes have no service fee.

Teacher commission

Completed paid lessons carry a 20% Ustadhy platform commission, leaving 80% of the lesson price as the teacher’s net earnings. Free trial classes generate neither commission nor teacher earnings.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for policy violations, fraud, safety risk, legal requirements or prolonged technical abuse. Where appropriate, the app provides the reason and a support channel.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Ustadhy is not a party to agreements for lessons and is not responsible for user conduct or offline interactions. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms for legal, safety or service changes and will publish the effective date. Material changes may require renewed acceptance. Contact support@tajulwaqar.com.
