Tajulwaqar respects your privacy. This Policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain, and protect personal data when you use our website, mobile application, virtual classroom, and related support services.
Tajulwaqar is the operator responsible for the personal data described in this Policy. Contact details appear at the end of this page.
We use data to create and secure accounts; review teacher applications; provide search, matching, booking, payments, messaging, live classrooms, reminders, and support; prevent fraud and misuse; comply with legal duties; improve performance; and send service communications. Marketing messages are sent where permitted, and you can opt out at any time.
Depending on the processing activity, we rely on consent, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, protection of vital or public interests where applicable, and legitimate operational or security interests where permitted by the UAE Personal Data Protection Law.
Independent account holders must be adults. A parent or legal guardian may arrange lessons for a child through an adult-owned account and is responsible for providing appropriate information and supervision. We do not knowingly permit a child to create an independent account. Contact us if you believe a child’s data has been provided without proper authority.
Payments are processed by approved payment providers. Tajulwaqar may receive transaction identifiers, status, amount, currency, and fraud-prevention information, but does not ordinarily receive or store full payment-card details.
We may share only the data necessary with teachers or learners involved in a booking; payment and payout providers; video-classroom, hosting, email, analytics, security, and customer-support providers; professional advisers; and public authorities when required by law. Service providers must process data for authorised purposes and apply appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal data.
Classroom Quran service: Tajroom uses Quran Foundation Content APIs for Quran text, page layouts and recitations. Quran Foundation is part of the ecosystem that includes Quran.com and QuranReflect; Tajulwaqar is an independent service, not an official Quran Foundation product. Our server requests pages, chapters, verses and recitations using application credentials; it does not send your name, email address, account ID or lesson notes to Quran Foundation for these requests. If word search is enabled and you use it, the search words are sent to Quran Foundation to return matches. Quran fonts load directly from the Foundation's delivery domain, which may receive your IP address and browser information. We do not use Quran Foundation account sign-in or access your Quran Foundation bookmarks or notes. To avoid this processing, do not open the classroom Quran viewer or use its search. Our general account and data-rights controls below remain available.
Because learners, teachers, and service providers may be located in different countries, data may be processed outside the UAE. Where required, we use contractual, organisational, or other lawful safeguards for cross-border transfers.
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including account operation, transaction records, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, safety, and legal or tax obligations. Retention periods vary by data type. Data is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer required, subject to lawful exceptions.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect data, including encrypted transport, access controls, account security, backups, and monitoring. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Users should protect their passwords and avoid sending sensitive information through public profile fields or ordinary messages.
We use essential cookies for login, security, language, currency, and core functionality. We may also use preference and analytics technologies to understand and improve the Platform where permitted. Browser settings can control cookies, although disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the Platform from working.
Subject to applicable law and lawful exceptions, you may request access to your data; correction; deletion; restriction or cessation of certain processing; portability where applicable; withdrawal of consent; and information about sharing or automated processing. You may request account deletion from account settings where available or by contacting us. We may verify your identity before completing a request.
Do not record lessons or publish another person’s image, voice, messages, or personal information without a lawful basis and all necessary permissions. Information placed in a public teacher profile or public review may be visible to other visitors.
We may update this Policy when our services, providers, or legal duties change. The latest date will appear at the top, and material changes will be communicated through the Platform or by email where appropriate.
